An 18-year-old youth, who was abducted in Balochistan’s Chagai district, was rescued by levies forces in an operation on Thursday. One alleged kidnapper was also arrested during the operation.
According to levies information, the operation was carried out under the supervision of Risaldar Major Tahir Khan Zarkoon and following orders from Deputy Commissioner Dr. Attiq-ur-Rehman Shahwani. Authorities did not provide further details on the identity of the suspect or the circumstances of the abduction.
Meanwhile, Healthcare services in Noshki continue to suffer, contradicting the Balochistan government’s claims of improving medical facilities. The Teaching Hospital in Noshki remains without a female or male doctor to fill vacant positions, with a nurse currently overseeing the gynecology ward.
Local residents have expressed frustration, as the province’s health sector remains under-resourced despite repeated assurances from Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar.
