Islamabad, March 28, 2018 (PPI-OT): The President of Pakistan confers perks and privileges on the Chairman, Council of Islamic Ideology equal to those of Minister of State to the Government of Pakistan. The President of Pakistan on advice of Prime Minister of Pakistan has conferred salary, allowances and privileges on Prof. Dr. Qibla Ayaz, Chairman, Council of Islamic Ideology vide Ministry of Law and Justice Notification SRO No.(1)/2018 dated 27th March, 2018 equal to those of Minister of State to Government of Pakistan. This is regarded recognition of the important role of Council of Islamic Ideology in the legislative process.
