Islamabad, January 31, 2018 (PPI-OT): The Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Mr. Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has taken notice of allegations and threats to Ocean Welfare Organization, a non-governmental organization running a makeshift school for around 2,000 street children under a flyover in Clifton near the Abdullah Shah Ghazi shrine. It has been reported that the Sindh government has asked them to either hand over the school with children to the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) or shut it down. Allegedly, there were also threats to use police force if the NGO does not handover the school to Sindh Education Foundation. Taking notice of the issue, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan has called report from Chief Secretary, Sindh within five days.
