Lahore, Chairperson of the Child Protection Bureau and Member of the Provincial Assembly Punjab, Sarah Ahmed, celebrated Eid-ul-Azha with the children of the Child Protection Bureau. The day was marked by festivities including a sacrifice, distribution of gifts, and special meals for the children.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Sarah Ahmed spent the Eid day at the bureau, engaging with the children and overseeing the festivities. A special sacrifice was made as part of the celebration, following which the children enjoyed a variety of foods such as Dahi Bhale, burgers, shawarma, golgappe, and ice cream. Activities for the day also included cutting an Eid cake, and distribution of new shoes and clothes among all the children. For the girls, stalls for mehndi and bangles were set up, adding to the joy of the celebration.

Chairperson Ahmed expressed her pleasure at being able to participate in the festivities and reiterated her commitment to making special arrangements for the children each year. The event was also attended by DG Child Protection Bureau Aftab Ahmed Khan and other officials.
