ChildLife launches spreading smiles campaign

KARACHI:ChildLife Foundation has launched a campaign “Spreading Smiles” to celebrate Universal Children’s Day during the month of November in its Emergency Rooms across Karachi.

 

Numerous organizations participated as part of their “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)” to spread smiles amongst the children visiting ChildLife’s Emergency Rooms by distributing toys.

 

Dr Ahson Rabbani, CEO, ChildLife Foundation, said ChildLife supports UNICEF’s resolve by observing Universal Children’s Day as this year is extra special.

 

“The sight of any toy brings smiles on the faces of children. The purpose of this campaign is to give a chance to people belonging to different organizations to bring smiles by distributing toys,” he added.

 

“We believe that health care, especially quality emergency care, is the basic right of every human including children and we are working with the government and citizens to give every child the right to live,” said Dr Ahson.

 

It is pertinent to mention here that ChildLife is a PCP and ISO Certified, non-profit organization saving children’s lives since 2010. To date, it has treated 3.0 million children free of cost, and currently its network consists of 20 Emergency Rooms and Satellite Centers at government hospitals.

 

Moreover, ChildLife is using Tele-Medicine to reach remote areas and to improve the quality of care given in ERs
