A quarrel among children escalated into bloodshed, resulting in the death of an uncle and a nephew. A clash occurred between two groups of the Phul community in the village of Hashim Phul, within the jurisdiction of the Phul police station.
During the altercation, axes, sticks, and bricks were used. Subsequently, one party opened fire, leading to the deaths of Akbar Phul and Imran Phul. According to the police, the two young men were uncle and nephew and were targeted by the firing of Ismail Phul and his brother Shahid Phul.
After completing the necessary legal procedures, the bodies were handed over to the families. The affected family placed the bodies on the national highway in protest and staged a sit-in. The protesters accused the police of failing to arrest the perpetrators and demanded justice.
Police officers arrived at the scene and assured the arrest of the perpetrators, after which the protesters ended the sit-in and restored the flow of traffic on the national highway.
