Shikarpur:Stuart Gunj police Saturday claimed to have recovered 80 bags of hashish loaded with tomatoes boxes.
According to a report, a truck came to Shikarpur Sabzi Market from Quetta loaded with tomatoes and when vegetable sellers purchased tomato boxes after open bidding as usual, they surprised to see bags of hashish in tomato boxes. The sellers informed the area police about the incident.
The area police seized the truck and boxes of hashish loaded with tomatoes. The area police took the custody of few vegetable sellers and tomatoes businessman Ala-u-Deen Pathan of Quetta and one other in their custody.
When this correspondent tried to contact with Stuart Gunj police and its SHO Muzamil Soomro, they avoided sharing any information regarding the bags of hashish.
