Shikarpur:Dakhan police said Saturday that a constable was killed in a road accident near Boohi Qubba.
According to the police, the constable, identified as Ghulam Murtaza Shah, was coming to duty when a speeding van hit his bike. As a result, he died. The driver escaped leaving the van on the road.
The body was shifted to a local hospital and later handed over to his heirs after completing medico-legal formalities. No FIR was registered till late evening.
