Demand to resolve civic issues of UC-30

Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) UC-30 Karachi chapter has demanded to resolve the lingering civic issues of the union council including broken roads and streets, non-working streetlights, poor drainage system, dearth of public transport and policing issues.

In this regard, the members of political, electoral and public aid committee of JI UC-30 chapters paid a detailed visit to Hijri Road, road from SBP Housing Society to M-9 Motorway, and the road from Sumera Chowk to Abdullah Ghazi Goth and documented the civic issues of these neighborhoods.

The committee members led by UC-30 JI Nazim Fahim Usmani and comprised of convener Syed Khalid Jamal, Qazi Iftikhar Hayat, Asghar Ali Gabol, Siraj Khanzada, Ihtisham Shami and Ashiq Ali Gabol also called on SHO Sachal police station Haroon Korai and SHO investigation Syed Ahmed Ali Shah and discussed the issues related to policing with them.

However, the committee decided to raise an urgent demand for reconstruction of the dilapidated roads and streets. They also decided to display banners on these roads and also met with the Administrator of DMC East, says a release here Monday.
