KARACHI:The purpose of computing should be simple solution to simple problems which need to give importance to connectivity, supportive and positive human attitude.
“In today’s world, man, belief, values, culture, and society are of great importance. Culture plays an important role in the development of society, so as human beings, we must raise the fallen individual and on
this basis, it is said that computing should not change a person’s natural behavior,” said President, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Karachi (MAJU) Prof Dr Zubair Shaikh while addressing a seminar on Computing at the university auditorium today.
The seminar was organized by Association of Computing Machinery International, MAJU students chapter. Dr Zubair Sheikh told the seminar that the beginning of computing was possible in the form of calculator based on the subject of arithmetic, power supply, network, data, search system, intelligence and delimitation are considered important components of computing. He said that how sustainable computing could become commonplace as it requires a wide range of impressions, data wherever found, engineering knowledge, the environment and human potential.
