Cleanliness Plan of Karachi has been developed: Murtaza Wahab

Karachi, September 04, 2019 (PPI-OT): Spoke person of Sindh Government and Advisor to Chief Minister for Law, Environment and Coastal Development Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that a new cleanliness plan of Karachi City has been developed by Sindh Government and make Karachi “Uroos-ul-Bilad”. Chief Minister Sindh will be heading the drive of cleanliness.

He said that after the Muharam-ul-Haram comprehensive and scientific planning of cleanliness would be started. He further said that Federal Minister Ali Zaidi sought donation by people of Karachi but he failed to bring funding by Federal Government. “We request from Federal Government please fulfill the promises made to the people of Karachi” he also said.

He said that corruption had been eliminated in fisheries and now European Union opened the exports now fishermen would be facilitated by new equipments. Provincial Advisor was told that earlier was a rush of Boats that were difficult to handle but now after the installation of the floating jetty, the fishermen would have an easier time handling the goods.

Chairman of the Fishermen Co-operative Society Abdul Bar briefed the Advisor. Abdul Bar told the Advisor that 20 crore was given to Karachi Port Trust by Fisheries Department for repair and maintenance but Federal Government did nothing for this matter. Spoke person Sindh Government said that PPP believes in providing jobs to the people and we are being punished for the same crime.
