Lahore, April 04, 2019 (PPI-OT): Asia’s biggest international pharmaceutical exhibition “16th Health and Pharma Asia International Exhibition 2019 ”, jointly organized by Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) and Ecommerce Gateway concluded here today at Lahore Expo Center with the participation of 30’000 trade visitors and 22’000 local visitors. The closing ceremony was attended by Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal, Minister of Industries, Commerce and Investment, Mr. Ahmed Hasnain, Senior Vice President PCJCCI and Dr. Khursheed Nizam, President E-Commerce Gateway.
Mr. Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal, Minister of Industries, Commerce and Investment while addressing the ceremony said that this Event and the series of Conferences on latest research and developments / innovations on health, medicine, laboratory technology, diagnostics, surgery, transplants, physiotherapy, patients’ referrals, diets, will help in bringing out the best for pharmaceutical industry and health sector. This exhibition provided a platform to health sector and pharmaceutical market of Pakistan which will definitely help in developing the pharmaceutical sector in Pakistan on modern lines by exchanging innovative ideas with the world’s leaders of health industry, he added.
Dr. Khursheed Nizam, while expressing his views, said that, more than 30’000 foreign trade visitors participated from different countries which includes, China, France, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Turkey, UK, USA, participated in his exhibition actively. The participation of foreign companies opened doors of innovation and success for the health and pharmaceutical sector of Pakistan.
Mr. Ahmed Hasnain, Senior Vice President PCJCCI, speaking on this occasion, said that, PCJCCI was striving hard to support the current boost up in Pakistan’s economy. We are trying to bring Chinese investors in all spheres of industry in Pakistan. The exhibition like Health and Pharma are playing a role of catalyst in developing friendly relations with different countries, especially with China for promoting bilateral trade relations.
