CM aide hands over appointment letters to 74 officers

KARACHI: Advisor to CM Sindh on Agriculture Manzoor Hussain Wassan has handed over appointment letters to 74 agriculture officers here Monday in the office of agriculture department, Sindh Secretariat Karachi.

All these 74 agriculture officers were selected by Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) and after completing necessary formalities for the appointment, they were given appointment letters as agriculture officer (BPS-17) in Sindh Agriculture Department. There were 57 male and 17 female among them.

On this occasion, Wassan, said that Sindh government was striving to boost agriculture of the province on modern lines. Wassan advised newly appointed agriculture officers to work hard and with full devotion for the development of agriculture economy of the province and present their latest proposals for the betterment in agri-sector. Manzoor Hussain Wassan said that giving employment and opportunities to prosper is the base of PPP’s manifesto. He said that PPP always gives employment.

Wassan expressed satisfaction over the representation of youth of all cities of Sindh in newly appointed agriculture officers. He said that PPP believed in merit, transparency and service to the people without any discrimination. On this occasion, secretary agriculture department Abdul Raheem Soomro and other senior officers were also present.
