QUETTA:Babar Yousafzai, spokesperson for Chief Minister Balochistan, has said that Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, has accorded approval for releasing funds in order to pay two months salaries to the academicians and employees of BUITEMS, Quetta. This was informed by him while talking to the representatives of BUITEMS Staff Association in the protest sit-in camp set up within the premises of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS), Quetta here on Monday.

Babar said that all the problems of BUITEMS, Quetta would sincerely be addressed, adding that meetings of the representatives of BUITEMS Staff Association with Secretary, Colleges, Higher and Technical Education, Balochistan and other concerned authorities would be arranged. Announcing to call off the protest sit being observed by the employees and academicians of BUITEMS, Quetta under the auspices of BUITEMS Staff Association, Numan Khan, President, BSA said that government had assured payment of salaries within 48 hours.

It is pertinent to mention that protest sit-in, arranged by BUITEMS Staff Association, had been continuing in the premises of BUITEMS, Quetta for the last three days, demanding payment of salaries to the academicians and employees of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS).
