QUETTA: Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, said on Monday that the recent statement of Imran Khan against Asif Ali Zardari, Co-Chairman PPP, had endangered the life of Asif Ali Zardari.

According to the statement issued on Monday, CM said that connecting the name of Asif Ali Zardari with a terrorist organization or levelling such allegations were not appropriate, adding Imran Khan had bent upon deteriorating the political environment of the country.

Zehri further stated, “Imran Khan kept political leaders behind the bar in order to prolong his tenure as Prime Minister, adding that it was known to all and sundry that during the reign of Khan, terrorists were strengthened the most.”

“It was also the part of history that the Government of Imran Khan during his tenure funded terrorist organizations. The government must conduct investigation into the statement of Imran Khan,” Former Chief Minister Balochistan added.
