CM Kamal empowering youth, says Musakhail

QUETTA:Sardar Babar Khan Musakhail, Deputy Speaker Balochistan Provincial Assembly has said that the incumbent provincial government under the leadership of Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan, was striving hard to empower youth of the province.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan intended to highlight the hidden abilities of youth which could be judged from the introduction of Kamyab Jawan Programme,” he said while talking to Hammad Khan Kakar, President, Organization of Islamic Youth (OIY) who called on him in his office here on Monday.

Musakhail said that youth exchange programme between Pakistan and Afghanistan would help bring these two brotherly Muslim countries closer to each other. On the occasion, Hammad Khan Kakar apprised Sardar Babar Khan Musakhail of his tour of Afghanistan conducted for facilitating intra Afghan peace dialogue and bringing youth of Pakistan and Afghanistan closer to each other.

Kakar said during his visit of Afghanistan, he called on Engineer Gulbadeen Hikmatyar, Ameer, Hizb-e-Islami Afghanistan and former Prime Minister of Afghanistan, former Afghan Minister for Finance Dr. Umer Zakhailwal, Afghan Minister for Tribal Affairs Muhibullah Samim, Chief of Staff to Hamid Karzai, former Afghan President, Abdul Kareem Khurum and different Afghan youth activist and shared with them views regarding normalization of ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan”. He said in order to normalize ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Organization of Islamic Youth (OIY) was going to arrange conferences in Kabul, Islamabad and Ankara.

Kakar said to reduce the growing influence of India in Afghanistan; steps were required to be taken for increasing the seats for Afghan students in all the educational institutions of the country. He said OIY intended to arrange trip for Afghan youth activists to visit Gwadar. Organization of Islamic Youth was supposed to hold “Pak-Afghan Youth Dialogue” in Ankara in collaboration with the government of Turkey, said Hammad Khan Kakart.

Kakar said that Organization of Islamic Youth was going to arrange “Quadrilateral Youth Friendship Conference” in Quetta in which representatives of Pakistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan would participate.

Lauding the initiatives taken by Organization of Islamic Youth, Musakhail assured Hammad Khan Kakar all kind of assistance. On the occasion, Syed Bilal, core committee member of OIY was also present.
