Met office informed on Tuesday morning that most parts of Pakistan are expected to experience cold and dry weather during the next 24 hours.
According to a Pakistan Meteorological Department report, thunderstorms, and snowfall has been predicted for Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Northeast Punjab may see partly cloudy skies with light rain or drizzle, while fog conditions are likely in parts of Punjab and upper Sindh during the night. Northern areas are experiencing very cold temperatures.
During the past 24 hours, scattered rain and thunderstorms were recorded in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeastern Balochistan, Punjab, and upper Sindh. Snowfall was reported in Kalam, where seven inches were recorded.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Mir Khani (25), Kalam (19), Dir (8), Chitral (5), Pattan (3).
Punjab: Joharabad (6), Multan Airport, Murree, Sargodha City, Bhakkar (1 each).
Balochistan: Bar Khan (4).
The coldest spot in the country was Leh, where temperatures dropped to -8°C. Other minimum temperatures included Gupis and Hunza (-3°C), Skardu (-2°C), and Kalam (-1°C).
Authorities are advising travelers to exercise caution in foggy and hilly areas, especially where snowfall may affect road conditions.
