QUETTA: Suhail-ur-Rehman Baloch, Commissioner Quetta Division and Project Director, Chief Minister’s Quetta Development Package, has directed the concerned authorities to expedite finalizing the development schemes being executed under Chief Minister’s Quetta Development Package by removing all the impediments.

 

These views were expressed by him while presiding over a meeting held here on Monday to review progress of development schemes being executed under Quetta Development Package. Highlighting the importance of widening of Sariab Road, Subzal Road and Sirki Road, it was decided in the meeting to expedite finalizing the development projects and taking strict action against those causing delay in the execution of development schemes.

 

Addressing participants of the meeting, Suhail-ur-Rehman Baloch said that team work was indispensable for executing development schemes reflected in Chief Minister’s Quetta Special Development Package, hence, directions to the concerned authorities were issued to remove hurdles that hampered the execution of development schemes.

 

The concerned authorities were also directed to arrange alternate routes for traffic during execution of development schemes so that people might not face hardships. He said that widening of Sariab Road, Subzal Road and Sirki Road would not only overcome the traffic congestions in the mentioned areas, but would also address the hardships of the people.

 

Detailed briefing with regard to the pace of work and progress review of the development schemes being executed under Chief Minister’s Quetta Development Package was given to the participants of the meeting. Meeting was attended, inter alia, by Deputy Commissioner, Quetta, Shahaik Baloch, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Quetta, Dr Yasir Khan Bazai, Director (Development), Quetta and others.
