Islamabad, September 15, 2018 (PPI-OT): The Executive Committee of the Pakistan Bar Council in its meeting held today at Lahore under the Chairmanship of Mr. Ghulam Shabbir Shar have strongly condemned the incident of firing took place today in District Court, Peshawar in which Mr. Yousuf Riaz Khalil, Advocate and two others have been seriously injured.
The Committee has strongly criticized the failure of the Federal and KP Provincial Governments in providing security to Courts in KP and demanded of the Government to arrest the culprits immediately and bring them to book at the earliest for awarding exemplary punishment. It has also emphasized for the need of evolving foolproof practical strategy and plan for the proper security in and around the Court premises.
