Meri Pehchan Pakistan (MPP) party has expressed concern over the rising unrest and attempts to incite violence in Karachi.

In the members in the MPP’s Central Executive Committee’s meeting here today urged the people to unite as a nation and thwart every conspiracy. According to them, Karachi is the economic hub of Pakistan, and both the federal and provincial governments should pay special attention to it.

The Central Committee emphasized the need to focus on the country’s development instead of blaming each other. Commending Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad’s statement, the committee said that his narrative is a symbol of the country’s strength, integrity, stability, confidence, unity, and hope.

The committee stressed the need for good governance in Karachi and collaboration with all stakeholders. They stated that at present, the entire nation must unite to defeat all conspiracies.

The Central Committee underscored the importance of thinking beyond politics for the country’s interest. Appreciating the efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces against anti-national elements, they emphasized the need for the nation to stand by them.

The committee welcomed the holding of apex committee meetings and stated that other provinces, like Sindh, should also follow suit. Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad’s vision was deemed successful in the context of national security meetings, reduction in electricity prices, and the National Action Plan.

The Central Committee urged the Chief Minister of Sindh to implement the announced measures to control accidents in Karachi. They also stressed the need for the federal government to address Sindh’s grievances and release special funds for Karachi.
