Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Monday said that August 05 was a dark day in the history when special status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir-IIOJK was revoked.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, he said lands of Kashmiri people were being snatched and allotted to fundamentalist Hindus after revoking special status of IIOJK.
Mr Bugti said a conspiracy had been hatched to turn majority of Muslims in IIOJK into minority. He said lives of Kashmiris were being made miserable, adding that international community ought to have taken notice of the atrocities being committed by Indian state’s institutions. He said right of self determination would have to be granted to the people of IIOJK in accordance with the resolutions passed by the United Nations.
He said, ‘Kashmir is the aorta of Pakistan, but India forgets that hearts of Pakistanis and Kashmiris beat together.’ India wanted to suppress the voice of self-determination of the people of Kashmir. Expressing unwavering support of the people of Balochistan to the right of self determination of the people of IIOJK, he said that voice would be raised at every forum against Indian state’s brutal repression in IIOJK.
