Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said on Monday that corruption in society has spread like cancer, emphasizing the need for a collective struggle to eliminate it.

In his message on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day issued from Sindh CM House, the chief minister urged the youth to join the fight against corruption to secure the nation’s future. Shah stated that the Sindh government was strictly adhering to a zero-tolerance policy against corruption and had strengthened the Anti-Corruption Department.

He said: “The department has exposed several scandals and ensured the punishment to offenders.” He also called upon the public to support the government in this battle against corruption.

The CM said that this year, International Anti-Corruption Day is being marked under the theme: “Uniting Youth Against Corruption for a Better Tomorrow.” This theme highlights the role of youth leadership in the fight against corruption. He urged the youth to stand against corruption today to save the nation’s future.
