Rawalpindi: Awami Muslim League Pakistan (AMLP) leader Sheikh Rashid said on Saturday that the country was going through worst economic and political crisis, foreign exchange reserves had dwindled to alarming levels. In his tweet, Rashid said that Pakistan is in danger of bankruptcy if the country will not receive bailout package from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) soon.

He said that the poor people had no food to eat, money for electricity bills and school fee of children. He said that the poor people were in worst shape as factories had been closed, and inflation rate had been increased while they could not even buy flour.

Rashid further added that political chaos, distraction and instability were leading Pakistan towards destruction, adding whatever kind of intervention is happening, everyone has to save the country together. He stated that every single day was important, so everyone would have to sit together; otherwise, people would decide for themselves.
