PADIDAN:A man and a woman were killed two years after their free-will marriage in Bandhi town on Saturday.

The couple, youth Sikandar Shah and Sajida Janwri, the actual residents of Phul town, who had contracted a free-will marriage about two years back, were found axed to death in Bilal Colony of Bandhi town.

Police rushed to the scene on information, shifted their bodies to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs.

The police have arrested accused Asghar Ali and Aslam Janwri from village Daulat Janwri and started further investigation into the case. The local people were of the view that the couple was passing tormented life as the girl’s parents and relatives were angry over her free will marriage.
