Srinagar, May 29, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, a Srinagar court has granted interim bail to Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi, and her associates Fehmeeda Sofi and Nahida Nasreen in a false case registered against them at Soura Police Station in January, this year.
The court of first additional sessions judge, Srinagar, issued the order of granting interim bail after hearing arguments of the detainees’ counsels Advocate Mir Shafaqat Hussain and Advocate Urfi and the public prosecutor on the bail application. The court granted interim bail to Aasiya Andrabi, Fehmeeda Sofi and Nahida Nasreen upto 16 June, 2018.
“The Soura police had registered an FIR and mentioned other cases. Aasiya Andrabi was re-arrested and implicated in this case in January soon after she was about to be released from south Kashmir Islamabad jail,” advocate Shafaqat told media men.
