(COURT): Maha Shah case: Court summons three witnesses for statement

KARACHI:Judicial Magistrate of South on Thursday summoned three key witnesses to record their statements in Dr Maha Shah alleged suicide case on 18th October.

 

The development in case came after the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case submitted a plea seeking permission for recording statements of three witnesses, Fatima Shah, sister of the deceased, Naad-e-Ali, brother of the deceased, and Munza Ali.

 

According to IO’s application, CCTV footage of private hospital and Maha’s audio recording have been included in probe, while three suppliers of the cocaine, Bilal, Yaseen and Saad, have been arrested. However, two accused, Junaid and Waqas, are out on interim bail.

 

It may be noted that 24-year-old doctor, Maha Shah, practicing at a private hospital in Clifton, had allegedly committed suicide by shooting herself in her home in DHA on August 18.
