COVID-19 cases in Balochistan increased: Rind

QUETTA:Parliamentary Secretary for Information Bushra Rind has said that second wave of novel corona virus had worsened.

COVID-19 cases in Balochistan had increased after the public meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), she said while addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Sunday.

Rind said the opposition parties had been rejected by the people, but now they were arranging public gatherings to endanger the lives of people. She said that Maryam Nawaz should know that more people went missing during the reign of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Due to the sacrifices rendered by security forces, lasting peace had been maintained, but the opposition parties were criticizing security forces, she regretted. She added that many missing persons had been recovered and credit went to Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan.

PROTEST: Minority Wing of Pakistan Youth Peace Movement staged a protest demonstration outside Quetta Press Club on Sunday against the authorities for not apprehending perpetrators involved in making and then sharing the video of one Christian youth Qamber Bhatti. Protest demonstration was addressed by Juliet Aslam, President, Pakistan Youth Peace Movement Minority Wing.
