Covid positive cases ratio in Hyderabad is 8.7%: CM’s aide

KARACHI:Spokesperson for Sindh Government and Advisor for Law Barrister Murtaza Wahab, referring to positive cases of corona virus in Hyderabad, said in a statement on Monday that the rate of corona cases in Hyderabad district was not more than 15% while the rate in Hyderabad city was 15%, and that’s wrong.

 

He clarified that 1,600 tests were done in the last 24 hours, of which 140 tested positive for the corona virus. The rate of positive cases in Hyderabad is 8.7 per cent. He added that 3200 tests had been carried out in the last 48 hours in which 276 have tested positive.

 

He appealed to the public to wear masks because of the rapid spread of the corona virus.
