Islamabad, July 09, 2018 (PPI-OT): Honourable Chairman Justice Mr. Javed Iqbal visited NAB Bureau Baluchistan and reviewed the performance of NAB Baluchistan. He said that progress of Baluchistan guarantees the progress of the country as progress in Baluchistan would have far reaching impacts on country’s economy and prosperity. He has said that NAB would continue playing its role for preventing corruption in important projects including the projects of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as CPEC not only guarantees country’s economic progress but also progress and prosperity of the country. CPEC is game changer of country’s progress and prosperity.
The Chairman NAB said that corruption in pat feeder canal would be unearth and people responsible will be identified and looted money would be recovered. He said that NAB would play its role in recovering the looted money. The Chairman NAB said that NAB would continue to apprehend culprits and deposit the looted money in the national exchequer. This would increase foreign exchange to help completing important projects in time. He directed to take corruption cases to logical conclusion. He said looted money of Baluchistan people have been recovered and returned to Baluchistan government, which speaks performance of NAB.
He said NAB does not have any link with elections. Mandate of NAB is apprehend the culprits without any discrimination and recover the looted money from the culprit. NAB has so far deposited record Rs 296 billion after recovering from the corrupt. The elimination of corruption would expedite economic activities and help strengthening country’s economy. This would make far reaching impacts on country’s economy. This would make Baluchistan prosperous and country also. Reiterating zero tolerance policy against corruption Justice Javed Iqbal said NAB would continue pursuing Accountability for All and NAB would continue indiscriminate policies against the corrupt as NAB has first and foremost affiliation with Pakistan and protecting its interests.
Terming corruption as main curse plaguing the country, he said that NAB would continue actions against the corrupt besides enhancing awareness about the corrupt in educational institutions. NAB has already started campaign to aware people especially youth about the evil effects of corruption as youth is our future and can play important role in elimination of corruption and in the progress and prosperity of the country.
He said that the performance of NAB Baluchistan under the supervision of DG NAB Baluchistan is satisfactory and directed to further improve the performance. He directed NAB officials to complete complaint verifications, inquiries and investigations within prescribed timeframe so that the looted money could be promptly recovered from the corrupt and deposit in the national exchequer to help in increasing foreign reserves to put the country on the road of progress and prosperity.
