Speaking at the 81st meeting to assess advancements in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) initiatives, Iqbal emphasized the importance of a unified approach to hasten infrastructure improvements and guarantee seamless power connections for industrial areas.

The meeting also addressed the Karakoram Highway project. Attendees learned that a technical team from China is anticipated to arrive in Pakistan soon to examine project details, especially its economic viability.
