Islamabad, January 16, 2021 (PPI-OT): Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani says the Upper House of the Parliament will continue to play its role in solving the problems of people of Gilgit-Baltistan. Talking to Speaker Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly Syed Amjad Ali in Islamabad, he assured all possible cooperation to enhance capacity of the newly elected members of Gilgit Baltistan legislative Assembly.
The Chairman Senate said northern areas of Pakistan have great tourism potential, which is essential social and economic development of the region. He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor would usher a new era of prosperity in the region. The Speaker apprised the Chairman about the ongoing development programs and important issues in Gilgit-Baltistan.
