Crackdown against illegal Iranian petrol-diesel trade ordered

QUETTA:Government of Balochistan has issued instructions to the concerned authorities for initiating crackdown against illegal Iranian petrol and diesel trade.

Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan in a letter issued here on Monday asked Inspector General of Frontier Corps (North and South), Balochistan, all Divisional Commissioners in Balochistan and Collector, Model Customs Collectorate, Quetta to take strict action against illegal smuggling of Iranian petrol and diesel in their respective areas of jurisdiction and submit seizure report to Home and Tribal Affairs Department within two days positively.

STUDENTS ISSUE: Candidates of MA and MSc took to the streets Monday as a protest demonstration was staged outside University of Balochistan.

According to detail, students blocked Sariab Road. Protesters were of the view that first paper of MA and MSc was going to be held on Dec 28, but roll number slips had not yet been issued to the students. They said that owing to the negligence of university’s administration, students were confronting hardships.
