QUETTA:Mir Shams Mengal, Provincial President, Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) has strongly condemned the decision of the Balochistan government to launch a crackdown against Iranian petrol and diesel trade.

In a statement issued here on Tuesday, Mengal said that instead of providing alternate source of income to the people of Balochistan, the government had bent upon snatching the only means of livelihood from the people.

He said the recent decision of the government was tantamount to economic killing of the people. He said the government ought to have established industrial zones in different areas of the province as Balochistan is the hub of CPEC project rather than depriving them of their livelihood.

The PSP leader said the ban on supply of Iranian petrol and diesel would add to the miseries of the people of Balochistan. Mengal called on authorities to withdraw the decision of initiating a crackdown against Iranian petrol and diesel trade.
