Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori met with a seven-member delegation from the Managing Committee of the Karachi Customs Agents Association, led by the Association’s General Secretary, Mahmood-ul-Hassan Awan, at Governor House. The meeting focused on the challenges faced by customs agents, the role of the Association in meeting tax targets, and other related matters.

Governor Sindh acknowledged the vital role played by the Association in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods. He assured the delegation that he would discuss their issues with the relevant authorities to find solutions.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori on the problems faced by customs agents. Following the discussions, the delegation, accompanied by the Governor Sindh, inspected the IT market, the “Bell of Hope,” and the distribution of ration bags.

The delegation praised the Governor’s welfare initiatives, stating that if everyone worked with the same vision, it would significantly reduce unemployment and poverty in the country.
