Karachi, November 09, 2020 (PPI-OT): Daraz is bringing the 11.11 sale from 11th to 17th November in Pakistan. According to Daraz, there are 15 million products on which customers can avail discounts worth up to Rs. 50 Crore. Daraz’s goal is to provide exciting digital payment solutions together with its 11+ payment partners who will be launching exclusive deals, discounts, and installment plans on the online shopping platform.
Daraz is providing multiple options for digital payments to encourage contactless payments and increase customer convenience. This year Daraz payment partners include HBL, Bank Alfalah, Meezan Bank, MCB, Faysal Bank, Allied Bank, Askari Bank, Silkbank, Standard Chartered, UBL, and Easypaisa.
Five of Daraz’s payment partners – Bank Alfalah, Standard Chartered, Silkbank, MCB, and UBL, are also offering the option of Easy Monthly Installments for purchases on Daraz with up to 18-month installment payment plans with selected tenures at a 0% markup.
Daraz also has its own Daraz Wallet, which provides exciting offers to customers and increases financial inclusion for the unbanked population of Pakistan. Daraz is proud to be powered by the Ant Group which provides technical support for digital payments on the platform.
Daraz’s efforts to digitize the economy include encouraging digital payments as a safer and more reliable method of payment for customers which also makes the online marketplace more efficient. It is also important to note that Pakistan has low financial inclusion and digitizing the economy will help remove barriers to financial inclusion.
Reportedly, only 21% of Pakistan’s population access to banking services, and the number of online payments is even lesser. Together with its payment partners and multiple digital payment solutions, Daraz has triggered a massive increase in digital payments on its platforms this year with almost half the payments being done through digital payments by the customers.
