Islamabad: International Day for Preservation of the Ozone Layer is being observed today (Wednesday) to mark the 35th years of Vienna Convention for the protection of the ozone layer.
This year’s theme for the World Ozone Day 2020 is “Ozone for life: 35 years of ozone layer protection”.
On this occasion, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres stressed the need to work together to preserve the ozone layer and apply the same will to healing the planet and forging a brighter and more equitable future for all humanity.
