Srinagar, May 09, 2019 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, semi-decomposed bodies were recovered from Sopore and Poonch areas.
The locals spotted a body floating in a nullah at Mal Ganipora in Sopore and informed the police station concerned.
Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Sopore, Javid Iqbal, told media that the body was retrieved from Pohru Nullah. “A magazine pouch was also found tied with the body,” he said.
Another decomposed body of a youth was recovered in the outskirts of Poonch town.
Meanwhile, Indian troops launched cordon and search operations in different areas of Baramulla, Pulwama and Ganderbal districts.
