Islamabad, August 23, 2019 (PPI-OT): Appreciating the role being played by the business community for the economic development of the country, President Dr. Arif Alvi said that the Government was undertaking all possible measures to further improve the Ease of Doing Business in the country which has already shown significant improvement as compare to the last year. He commended the ICCI for being the first chamber in Pakistan that took initiatives for Youth Development and promotion of entrepreneurship.
The President said this while talking to the delegation of ICC and I, led by its President Mr. Ahmed Hassan Moughal, who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad today. Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) was established on 26th August, 1984. It provides a forum for entrepreneurs of Islamabad Capital Territory to promote trade and commerce in the area. A Young Entrepreneurs Forum was created to motivate youth towards entrepreneurship so that youngsters could come in the mainstream of business world, make entrepreneurial career and contribute positively for the development of national economy.
