Srinagar, September 19, 2020 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a high-level delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) visited the house of Hurriyat leader, Shakeel Ahmed Butt, at Fateh Kadal in Srinagar and condoled with him over the death of his mother.
The APHC General Secretary, Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani led the delegation while it comprised Khwaja Firdous, Shaheen Iqbal, Syed Bashir Andrabi, Abdul Qudoos and Yasmeen Raja. The members of the delegation on the occasion prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the aggrieved family to bear the irreparable loss with patience.
Hurriyat leader, Firdous Ahmed Shah also visited the residence of Shakeel Ahmad Butt and expressed solidarity with him. On the occasion, Firdous Ahmad Shah said that the deceased was a pious woman whose contribution for the liberation movement would be remembered for long.
The Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, and the Tehreek-e-Istiqlal Chairman, Ghulam Nabi Waseem, in their statements issued in Srinagar expressed their sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family.
