QUETTA: Hurmat Naswa Welfare Society (HNWS) on Saturday staged a protest demonstration outside Quetta Press Club, demanding authorities to inflict exemplary punishment on the perpetrator involved in physically assaulting six-year-old girl Andleeb in Marriabad area of Quetta city.
Addressing a protest demonstration, speakers said that it was the responsibility of the state and government to protect women, but, they added, that the incumbent government had failed to provide security to the women.
Holding placards inscribed with slogans, “Justice delayed is justice denied”, “Provide justice to Andleeb”, protesters chanted slogans, demanding authorities to inflict exemplary punishment on perpetrator of the crime. Protest demonstration was addressed by Hameeda Ali Hazara, Shakeela Wali-ur-Rehman, Sumaya Hayat Baloch, Farzana Rajput, Shabana and others.
