Srinagar, January 27, 2018 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of International Forum for Justice and Human Rights, Muhammad Ahsaan Untoo organized a protest at Partab Park in Srinagar to demand justice for the victims of Kupwara massacre of 27th January, 1994. Muhammad Ahsaan Untoo on the occasion also displayed a paper he has compiled to show the actual facts and involvement of the Indian troops in the massacre.
Among others, Hurriyat leaders including Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Mohammad Iqbal Mir, Sajjad Gul, Shakeel Qalander, Abdul Majid Zargar and Nisar Jahangir also participated in the protest. Meanwhile, the spokesman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL) in a statement in Srinagar paid glowing tributes to the Kupwara martyrs. He said that the innocent people were killed because they had observed peaceful strike on the Republic Day of India and demanded their birthright to self-determination.
