KARACHI: Pakistan head coach Misbah-ul-Haq says Pakistan can win the upcoming T20I series against host West Indies.
Pakistan is scheduled to face the West Indies in a five-match T20I series, which begins July 27.
The former skipper Misbah expressed his belief that close matches against England will help his team perform well in the upcoming series.
“I am hopeful that our team can put a strong show against West Indies,” he said.
Misbah said that the team was not well prepared for the ODI games against England after a comprehensive stint in the Pakistan Super League, where they played the T20 format matches.
He added that the stint in England will help the team perform well against the Caribbean side.
“The conditions will be similar in West Indies as compared to England. So I believe players will be better prepared this time,” he said.
