After completing survey work, CDA is carrying out earth work on Service Road East, street 46, 47, 36 and 28 of the sub-sector I-15/3.
In this connection, instructions have been issued to complete the remaining survey / demarcation work at earliest so that earth work followed by construction work on remaining roads and streets may be started. The sector I-15 was launched nearly two decades ago particularly to accommodate low income citizens. However, despite the allotment of plots no step regarding its development was taken since its launch.
The incumbent management of CDA in line with its policy to take up the development work in the stalled sectors and uplift of infrastructure development of the city revived the project and decided to address the problems faced by those who were allotted plots and were stuck in the Sector I-15 since long. The development of this sector will help add to the housing stock available in the city as well as the country. Roughly over 10, 290 units of different categories will eventually be constructed here once entire process is completed.
