Larkana:The Deputy Director, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Larkana Region, Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah, along with inspector Altaf Soomro conducted raids on wholesalers and retailers’ shops here on Tuesday and claimed to have confiscated huge quantities of non-biotech degradable plastic bags from them.
They conducted raids at shops located in Jalus Bazaar area and warned the shop owners that plastic bags which have been banned should not be sold at any cost. They warned stern action against them will be taken under SEPA Act if they continued to violate the standing an orders of the government.
