LARKANA:A man was gunned down over a matrimonial dispute within the precincts of Civil Lines police station here on Thursday.
A-40-year-old man, Abdul Jabbar, son of Arz Muhammad Khaskheli, was gunned down by two motorcyclists at SSP Chowk in the city. The man had come here from Khan Jatoi village of Mehar Taluka to attend a court hearing.
He body was brought to Chandka Hospital Hospital for medico-legal formalities but could not survive. His close relative, Ali Nawaz Khaskheli, told newsmen that they had ongoing dispute with Muhbat Chandio, a resident of Nazar Muhalla of Larkana, over a matrimonial issue and Jabbar was killed in that connection. After fulfillment of necessary legal formalities, the body was handed over to the heirs. No FIR could be lodged till filing this report.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a 10-year-old girl Farhana, daughter of Bakhtiar Rind, was injured when a wall of an under-construction house fell on her in Beerao Chandio. She was rushed to Chandka Hospital where doctors were busy to save her life.
