Doctors demand implementation on decisions

KARACHI:Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Karachi has criticized what it called a “U-turn attitude” of Sindh government.

In a statement, PMA said during meeting the government accepts our demands and assures for implementation but at the time of implementation they completely take a U-turn, which is not acceptable. Now, we are going to take other options in this regard, warned the release.

It said PMA is a patient-friendly organization but at the same time it’s healthcare professionals’ representative body., as well. We have to protect their rights. We demand for provision of risk allowance for each and every doctor who is serving at frontline. It said all our demands accepted at the time of the meeting with Health Minister should be implemented immediately.
