Islamabad, March 21, 2018 (PPI-OT):On the directions of Member Administration, CDA, Muhammad Yasir Pirzada, 100 copies (Nuskha) of Quran-e-Majeed have been donated to Faisal Mosque. These copies of The Holy Quran are unique in nature and the same are some 200 to 700 years old transcripts of Quran-e-Majeed. These copies of Quran-e-Majeed have been donated by Professor Zahid Butt for Faisal Mosque on the special request of Member Administration, CDA, Muhammad Yasir Pirzada. The Administration of Faisal Mosque has started to display these copies of Quran-e-Majeed at the biggest mosque of federal capital.
While talking on the occasion, the Member Administration, CDA, Muhammad Yasir Pirzada has said that these copies of Quran-e-Majeed have been arranged to display at Faisal Mosque and after next 10 days, these unique copies of Quran-e-Majeed would be available for exhibition. Besides these copies of the Holy Quran, other samples of calligraphy would also be placed at Faisal Mosque for general public. The Member Administration, CDA, Muhammad Yasir Pirzada has declared these copies of Quran-e-Majeed as a best gift for citizens of Islamabad.
He said that thousands of people visit the Faisal Mosque on regular basis from Islamabad / Rawalpindi, whereas a large number of people also offer Taraweeh prayer in Faisal Mosque during the holy month of Ramdan. The Member Administration, CDA said further that a considerable number of people also attend Mehfil-e-Shabina in last three days of Ramadan and a large number of people perform I-Tikaf at the mosque so that’s why millions of people will take benefit from these unique and rare copies of Quran-e-Majeed.
Member Administration, CDA, Muhammad Yasir Pirzada has directed the concerned formations to take special measures for the protection and security of these copies of Holy Quran. He directed further to ensure the sanctity of these copies of holy Quran. It is pertinent to mention here that the Member Administration, CDA, Muhammad Yasir Pirzada had played his vital role in naming of major roads in capital city after the names of eminent writers, scholars, martyrs, poets and educationists.
