Central Vice President, National Party (NP), Dr. Ishaq Baloch on Friday condemned the incident of Mastung.

In a statement, he said, ‘Balochistan remains the battle field’, adding violent and heinous acts were open agreession against education and innocent people.

Dr Ishaq said fundamentalism, sectarianism and intolerance were promoted during the reign of former Military General Muhammad ZiaulHaq to further the interests of imperialism for few dollars. Seed sown had grown to a tree, engulfing the whole country in darkness, he said.

He said that rulers, who had no foresight, watered the plants through their negative policies and people of the country were bearing the brunt of those flawed policies.

Dr Ishaq said it was high time that rulers realised the gravity of the situation and promote cordial foreign policy and make friendly relations with neighbouring countries.

He said that the present terrorism was consequence of flawed foreign policies, adding, ‘Today school, Masjid, Church and Munder are not secure’. He said, ‘Rulers should learn lesson from their past and set its direction’.
