E-Commerce Gateway and PCJCCI opening 20th Textile Asia 2018 today

Lahore, September 07, 2018 (PPI-OT): Three-day joint exhibition of E-Commerce Gateway and Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry“20th Textile Asia 2018 will open today at Lahore Expo Center and will continue till 10th September, 2018. Sheikh Mohammad Shafique, Chairman Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) and Mr. Aaadil Butt, Chairman Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers Association (PHMA) will be the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony of this international trade fair.

Mr. S.M Naveed, President PCJCCI, Dr. Khursheed Nizam, President E-Commerce Gateway Pakistan and a number of the foreign and local businessmen will participate the ceremony. The organizing bodies heads claims that exhibition would lead the way in delivering the most exquisite opportunities for all participants in different sectors like; Textile, Garments, Embroidery, Digital Printing, Machineries and Chemicals etc. More than 550 International Brands will display their products in over 500 Booths and over 475 foreign delegates from 27 countries mainly from China, France, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Korea, Japan, Turkey, UK, USA will grace the auspicious event.

Mr. S.M Naveed, President PCJCCI, while expressing his views about the event, hoped that “20th Textile Asia International Exhibition”, shall act as a source of motivation and real opportunities for business ventures to the local businesses and industries. We will enter in joint ventures with local companies from Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot and Faisalabad, providing training to engineers from these cities that manufacture spare parts for sewing and textile machineries and buyback them to export to China.”

Dr. Khursheed Nizam President, Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan said that, “This trade fair is expected to host more than 475 foreign delegates as well as 45,000 visitors from trade and corporate sector. The focus of this trade fair is value addition in Textile industry to increase the export of our value-added textile and garment products.”

Chinese companies from different cities and provinces like Shanghai, Guangzhou, Jiangsu, Fujian and Shandong have shown their interest to relocate their textile, garment and accessories production units to Punjab, having investment of at least $25m for each unit, foreign companies also transfer their technologies, besides buying back Pakistani products after value-addition here, leading to enhance local export and lowering Pakistan trade deficit with China.
