The ECO Trade and Development Bank (ETDB) has expressed a strong intent to deepen its cooperation with Pakistan”s private sector to advance development initiatives within the country, it emerged from a high-level meeting on Saturay.

The strategic focus was communicated by a delegation from the financial institution, led by its President, Dr. Mohammad Hashem Botshekan, during a formal call with Pakistan”s Federal Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, in Istanbul.

In the course of the meeting, the banking officials presented a comprehensive overview of the ETDB”s ongoing operations and active projects. The delegation specifically emphasized its keen interest in enhancing partnerships with commercial entities in Pakistan.

Minister Khan acknowledged the detailed briefing and expressed appreciation for the bank”s sustained interest in the nation”s economic landscape.

He assured the ETDB representatives of the government”s full support in facilitating future engagements and fostering mutually advantageous collaborations.
